  • More important is the vision and mission for Farm House music Going forward. Currently we are a not for profit that isnt really doing a ton. We are need to move in a direction that helps us operate and trully help our surrounding artist community

  • Also we will make a couple adjustments to mission to include through combining arts and nature in the message and reflection of our Organization.
  • The current mission statement says, The “Farmhouse music organization was formed for the purpose of supporting the performing Art’s while blending nature and music.”. What is the proposed new statement?
  • To aid in the growth of the arts in Michigan by influencing, sponsoring and inspiring arts/music programs, festivals and events throughout the state. We aim to work with events promoting community, diversity, environmental awareness, artistic expression, human rights advocacy through combining arts and nature in the message and reflection of our Organization.
  • This allows us to be diverse in our movement. Lets really take this and start doing some good with it!
  • Too wordy for mission statement. Never put “we” in a mission statement. But I like the concept alot.

  • Meeting called to order 11 AM
  • Old business:
  • Bank balance is approximately $1300.
  • There was recently a $500 deposit.
  • New Business:
  • Ryan presented new ideas for business plan, and mission. New plans for creating income to use towards helping the Michigan music community. By means of infusion of nature music retreats assisting festivals and potential fund raising ideas.

  • I need to move sooner than later and we want farmhouse to accept it and for White Birch to receive 70% 30 % of sponsorship to farmhouse to be divided between Dunes and Farm
  • And then we need to follow up with a letter of request from both Dunes and Farm in order of event date

  • Ok the motion is Farmhouse music helps Dunesville and White Birch when they (Dunesville and WhiteBirch ) Has a sponsor for their event and the sponsor can only donate through non-profit. Farmhouse agrees to be the non-profit accept donation and split incoming donation 70 x 30 with finding Event. There in helping these events to continue to improve the Arts community
