Farmhouse Arts Inc. is a Michigan nonprofit organization that promotes the performing arts — encouraging and supporting performing-arts activities, holding musical events, developing property to serve those needs, and funding scholarships and grants for deserving performers.
What We Do
- Present live music in communities across Michigan, including the annual Gwinn Modeltown Market Summer Concert & Car Show in Peter Nordeen Park, Gwinn.
- Support events where music meets the outdoors — festivals, markets, and community gatherings across northern Michigan.
- Fund scholarships and monetary grants to deserving performers.
Recent Highlights
- Awarded $2,800 from Michigan Humanities to support summer music at the Gwinn Farmers Market (2025).
- Awarded $2,300 from Michigan Humanities for the Gwinn Market summer concert (2026).
- Nonprofit booth at the Dunesville Music Festival — 50/50 raffles, led community jam sessions, and family music activities (2026).
